Prayer event at Planned Parenthood Saturday, Feb. 11

February 6, 2017

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Monday, Feb. 6, 2017

On Saturday February 11- 2017 I will be joining an Ecumenical Pro-Life Prayer Service in front of the Planned Parenthood from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at 7155 East 38th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80207.

As the church and the world enter the 100-year anniversary for the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, the situation in the world today is one of great theological and moral confusion. The faithful are looking for answers and direction from Heaven. Specific spiritual actions are needed from all of us: the need to pray especially the rosary; attending Mass and going to confession on more regular bases. I urge us to work together in order to consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Archbishop Aquila, Bishop Elias Zaidan and their respective clergy and laity in the Archdiocese of Denver and the Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon for the Maronites are leading great efforts to promote, protect, and defend the culture of life from conception to death. They are joined by many leading dioceses in our nation, many Evangelical and Protestant Churches and many non-Christian religious communities. These bishops are giving us concrete guidance to find solutions to stop or minimize abortion, help the persecuted Christians, support the immigrants and victims of wars, promote the culture of life and stand against the physician assisted suicide bills in the US, and help the elderly to live a dignifying life near death.

However, and unfortunately, we see some division inside the Church over the priority of stopping abortion.

Moreover, we see there is a stream of liberalism and dangerous secularism to the souls of humanity in its relationship with God and an atheistic post-modernism reaching to the hearts of many even amongst the clergy. Consequently, many inside the Church find it acceptable to vote for, or support a pro-choice candidate to govern over us, and who don’t care for the Christians who are being persecuted. I alert you to this culture of death and satan.

At this time in history, the Church, the persecuted, the poor, the oppressed, the unprotected, the real refugees versus the people who might be getting into our nation to do harm, the real immigrants who are looking for a better life are all suffering between the coldness of heart of some leaders, and an active discrimination and vindication by other leaders. I, therefore, urge the Pro-Life movement in the United States to be the advocate for the persecuted Christians and other religious minorities in the world especially in the Middle East and Africa, also to help these refugees by insuring their safe return to their homelands and the creation of safety zones for them.

The Media is not paying proper attention to the plight of these oppressed and forgotten people who every day realize that their only hope is in the remaining Church of faith, hope and love.

Therefore our action is crucial at this point. We need to stand together in faith and in fullness of charity. We need to educate ourselves about the true needs of these people realizing that our joy in stopping or minimizing abortion cannot be complete while they have to battle in order to survive oppression every day.

We are up against a powerful evil which aims to destroy life from the womb to the tomb. We are facing a manifested evil which killed millions of babies in the womb, destroyed the institution of marriage and families, killed those suffering from illness through the physician assisted suicide, and now has unleashed the persecution of at least 150 million Christians in the world.

We are seeing the outcome of confusion amongst people and nations and I urge the Church leaders and the pastors not to shy away from outspoken sermons and to give enough time and attention to the sad facts of the persecution against life by naming all of these issues.

We are up against a ferocious evil which aims to render God absent from our life, and it will take a particular Divine Spiritual Guidance over our efforts to defeat such evil.

My friends, I ask you to please join me on Saturday Feb 11- 2017 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am in front of the Planned Parenthood at 7155 East 38th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80207, to pray, to listen to the Holy Scriptures, to send a message of Hope to the unborn children and to the mothers and to encourage them to choose life for their babies. Finally join me to pray for the right to life at all stages because it is God’s will for us to live and to be the promoters of the Good News.

God bless you
See you there or pray in the spirit with us on that day and every day.
