My Dear brothers and Sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ,
“Pacem In Terris”, or Peace On Earth Is an encyclical written by the saintly Pope John XXIII back on Holy Thursday of Holy Week, April 11, 1963.
One would ask: “wasn’t 'Peace On Earth' the proclamation of the Angels from Heaven at the night of the Birth of Our Lord in Bethlehem? Why would such a proclamation make its way to be used for an encyclical that was written on Thursday of Holy Week, the day in which the Lord celebrated his Last Supper, and was delivered on the hands of Judas Iscariot to be crucified at the hands of the gentiles and the chief priests and Pharisees?"
Christmas is the Good News of the Coming of the Son of God in the flesh. Holy Thursday is the Historical event where the Flesh of the Lord and His pure Blood were offered as a sacrifice for all nations and for all people of the earth.
“Now that our enemies have been crushed, let us go up to purify the sanctuary and rededicate it” (First Book of Maccabees, 4: 36).
With the Incarnation of Jesus, his passion, death and resurrection, the humanity became the sacred temple of the Lord, and life regained its original nature: “life is holy, life is saintly, life is sacred”. “Glory to God in the highest, and Peace on Earth and Good hope to all people of good will”. This is the chant of the angles at the nativity of Christ. Like every year on the first Sunday of November, the Church begins the Liturgical Year by celebrating the Consecration and the Renewal of the Temple. These are the marks of historical events that took place with the Maccabees in the Old Testament, when they liberated the Temple of Jerusalem from the hands of the pagan emperor who desecrated the temple and destroyed it.
Remember, no one can touch the Holy Mountain of God unless he is holy. The Temple was the place where the Lord dwelled. The Church in Christ, became the New Temple. Today, the Temple is the mystical Body of Christ. Today, the Temple is also extended to fit all those who seek and worship the Lord in Truth and in Spirit.
Considering all of the above, we see how, throughout the history of humanity, the followers and the adorers of God were always the target of hate and of persecution. We see how temples and churches are destroyed. We see how good people and innocent lives are killed even in their mother’s wombs and people still not think this is a crime.
We see how tombs of the dead are being invaded, the bones are being crushed, we see how churches in Mosul have been totally bombed, desecrated, people slaughtered and no one wants to defend life. Yes, Life is sacred. Our Nation today is coming to an existential time where the conscience of every person in our Nation will decide the path of this world. Those who choose life, God will reward with Life in abundance. Those who are confused, upset, not taking the commandments of God into account, will cause too much irreparable damage and too much pain caused by sin.
The worse thing happening today in the world and especially in our Nation is that there is a movement to bring back satanic worship into existence. The temple of God is desecrated, and it seems that some leaders and groups are trying to develop an existence that is not from God. Only the fool would believe in such a whim. The Temple of God lays first in the conscience of the human person realizing that he and she are made in the image and likeness of God but not to replace the Most High. Unfortunately today in the world, there are too many fights, too much war, and a global persecution against the Church and the followers of Christ.
You or whoever it is, can continuously plug their ears and turn the deaf one until the days of tribulation come. But after this, every individual will be aware and will have to assume responsibility for their action and for the way they led this life. No one can say: “I did not know, I did not hear, I did not see, I did not do this”.
Amen, I say to you, the same way, Jesus at Gethsemane assumed in his personal body and blood, and freely as both the Son of man and the Son of God, the decision to save all lives and all creation by offering himself on the Cross; the same way, today, every one of us, is facing this inner conscience voice that comes only from the Holy Spirit, to make a similar decision that is to be for life or for death. Saint Teresa of Calcutta and Pope Saint John Paul II spoke and warned our nation about the culture of death. This culture of death is not an event of history. It is in fact the invasion of evil against all lives. No wonder today in the world, when we come to choose ways of governments, of life, of education, of worship or juridical systems, to try to define allies and enemies, we try to pick and choose which life matters. This is very hypocritical. Unless people who want to lead the nations humble themselves and call upon the Name of the almighty seeking the divine Wisdom to govern, then leaders might be angels of confusion and lies not of peace and light.
Finally, today, all life is the Temple of God. I can see that the devil, with the help of sinners who refuse the grace of repentance, are collaborating in a very hatful and astute way against life from conception to death. Only Faith, Hope and Love in Christ can revoke this dark plan and give the world back to Christ, as the beautiful will of God the Father who wanted us to all live in peace and accord. Please repent and examine your conscience and don't be prideful nor stubborn. The outcome of the absence of Faith at this point is the loss of all life and Judgment of God.
God bless you
